What started as a joke somewhere at the end of the 1980's, rapidly became a serious hobby, resulting in an exposition in Amersfoort in the autumn of 1992. After living in Eindhoven for 12 years, we moved back to the center of Holland in 1996. After that, I hardly got to painting for some 12 years, until I started painting again in the spring of 2008 at Vernissage in Bussum, where I met the Russian painter Pavel Sizov.
I have divided my work into some global subject-areas and I use many materials from waterpaint to oilpaint, from acrylic paint to pastels, pencils or ink. Sometimes I think this or that suits me better, but very often choices on material are based on the time and space I have available.
An overview of some of the works I made from 1987 on until now.
